2025, you’ve been a rollercoaster.
From what started as our worst start to a year (ever) somehow ended up being our best.
After one of our toughest Christmas seasons in 2024 — with storms wiping out some of our biggest weekends — we entered 2025 on the back foot. Cash was tight, morale was low, and there wasn’t really any room for error.
January kicked off with me doing a full, single-handed refit of our new kitchen… with absolutely no money to spend on it. Long days, no help, pure stress. It quite literally landed me in hospital with a collapsed lung.
There was a genuine moment where I didn’t think I was going to make it to see out the 10-year anniversary of Thomas Cookie Co..
But I did.
And not only did we make it — we celebrated 10 years of Thomas Cookie… and from that point on, things started to turn.
By May, we hit a new record with our biggest event EVER.
We went on to soft-relaunch our franchise model and welcomed new franchise partners into the team.
We grew the kitchen, welcoming the incredibly talented Abby alongside some brilliant part-time staff.
We kept improving the bakery whenever funds allowed — step by step, brick by brick.
Somewhere in amongst all of that… we also welcomed little Lando into the world ❤️
And incredibly, we found ourselves in the very fortunate position of signing an amazing social media agency to help take the brand to the next level.
Then — somehow — running on a newborn sleep schedule and powered largely by caffeine and adrenaline… we delivered the biggest Christmas season we’ve ever had.
That simply wouldn’t have been possible without the most incredible team behind the scenes.

• 10,000+ blocks of butter unwrapped
• 120,000+ cookies, cookie cups & brookies baked
It’s been hard. It’s been stressful. But it’s also been the most rewarding year yet.
Thank you for every order, every visit, every message, and every bit of support. You’ve helped turn a year that nearly broke us into one we’ll never forget.
I’ve never started a year more excited than I am starting this year… it’s going to be incredible!
